Biography

Kevin Phan, MD, is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He grew up in Orange County, CA. Dr. Phan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiological Sciences at UCLA and then completed his Medical Doctorate Degree at UC San Diego. He then moved to New York and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein – Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Phan’s expertise is in foot and ankle reconstruction and treating all fractures and sprains around the foot and ankle. His expertise includes the treatment of bunions, hammertoes, arthritis from the toes to the ankle, painful flat feet, Achilles tendon disorders, and sports injuries. He has specialized training in patient-specific total ankle replacement surgery and uses minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques when appropriate.
