Naveen Gupta, M.D., is board certified in medical oncology and hematology practicing in the Upland area since 1980. As an oncologist and hematologist, he specializes in treatment of all cancers including breast, colorectal, lung, prostate, and kidney cancers, as well as blood cancers (leukemias, lymphomas and myeloma) and benign blood disorders. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Voted “Favorite Physician” by staff and colleagues at San Antonio Community Hospital in 2008, Dr. Gupta was also recognized in the 2000 Consumer Guide to Best Doctors and 2003 Guide to America’s Best Doctors. He has also been included in the 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2014-2018 America’s Top Physicians lists as well. He is past president of medical staff at San Antonio Community Hospital and has served on its Board of Trustees and Foundation.

Dr. Gupta treats each of his patients with personal attention, compassion, empathy and professionalism, while recommending the best management plan for their disease.

Mehdi M. Kebria, M.D.

Mehdi M. Kebria, M.D., grew up in a family of physicians and is proud to carry on that tradition. He is board-certified in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in ovarian, cervical, vulvar and uterine cancers.
As an accomplished clinician, Dr. Kebria has expertise in advanced robotic surgery and the use of cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC in the treatment of gynecologic cancers. Prior to City of Hope, Dr. Kebria served as director of robotic surgery and director of quality and patient safety at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
A sought-after medical expert, Dr. Kebria appears frequently in the media as an expert on women's cancers and has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles.
A native of Iran, Dr. Kebria received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran. He completed residencies at University of Connecticut (general surgery), the Cleveland Clinic (OB/GYN) and the Mayo Clinic (gynecologic oncology).

An active member in the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, Swapnil Rajurkar, M.D., has published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and presented at several major clinical conferences.

As an oncologist, Dr. Rajurkar is especially interested in lung, prostate and gynecological cancers. His personal hobbies and interests include spending time with his family and tennis, which he finds is a great form of exercise and relaxation. He states, “My goal is to provide compassionate and individualized treatment for my patients through the use of evidence-based medicine, access to the best technology and enrollment in clinical trials.”

Jaime Anderson RN, BSN, OCN

Jaime Anderson is an Oncology Certified Registered Nurse with 25 years experience in medical and surgical Oncology. She is currently an Oncology Nurse Navigator at San Antonio Regional Hospital.  She received her bachelor degree with honors at Cal State Fullerton. Jaime is also a proud recipient of the DAISY award for excellence in patient care.
