SARH Launches Urgent Care Plus in Ontario
Adds Mental & Behavioral Healthcare to Traditional Urgent Care Services
UPLAND, CA – November 17, 2025 − San Antonio Regional Hospital is expanding its integrated care model with the addition of Mental and Behavioral Health Services at our newly named, Ontario Urgent Care Plus location.
This expansion represents a significant step forward in our mission to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care that addresses both the physical and behavioral health needs of our patients. By integrating mental and behavioral health services into the traditional urgent care setting, we are strengthening our ability to meet patients where they are—providing timely, compassionate support for those experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, grief, or other short-term mental health challenges.
Through holistic assessments that consider the physical, mental, emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing well-being, our Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) works closely with our on-site physicians and physician assistants to deliver immediate and coordinated care.
Urgent Care Plus Services include:
- Short-term counseling and support for immediate grief, depression, and anxiety issues
- Cognitive therapy
- Short-term medication for mental health prescriptions, when appropriate
- Seamless care to community mental health providers or specialists for ongoing care when needed
While not designed for long-term therapy, Urgent Care Plus serves as an essential bridge—offering immediate relief and guiding patients toward continued resources and support within the community or San Antonio’s broader care network.
By bringing urgent care and behavioral health under one roof, Ontario Urgent Care Plus enhances access, equity, and continuity of care for individuals without a primary care provider, those in underserved areas, and anyone seeking prompt assistance for mild mental or behavioral health concerns.
According to the California Department of Healthcare Access and Information, all 58 counties in the state were projected to face behavioral health workforce shortages by 2025. Inland Empire counties are expected to experience some of the most severe gaps, based on data from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS).
Urgent Care Plus reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to population health and our vision for an integrated care system that recognizes the link between mind and body and continues to move us forward in improving the health and well-being of our community.

San Antonio Ontario Urgent Care Plus is located at 970 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, CA, 91762.
