Komal Patel, RN
Manager, Ambulatory Care

Komal has demonstrated exemplary leadership throughout her 24-year nursing career at San Antonio. Over the years she has consistently shown dedication to patient care with a commitment to personal growth. She began in our 2nd DOU and transitioned to Endoscopic Services where she quickly excelled and was promoted to charge nurse, taking on a vital leadership role within the team. In 2019, she accepted the role of Nurse Manager of Outpatient Services, overseeing our Ambulatory Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Endoscopic Services. Her leadership has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of care provided on these units, optimizing operational efficiency and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
