The 4th floor Orthopedic Unit at San Antonio Regional Hospital is a 20 bed state-of-the-art medical/surgical unit that specializes in the
care of surgical orthopedic clients post-operatively, during their inpatient stay.

Private Patient Rooms
20 new state-of-the-art patient rooms in our orthopedic unit are dedicated to caring for our orthopedic surgery patients.
Orthopedic Nursing Team
Our nursing team includes certified orthopedic nurses who are specially trained in orthopedic care. Mobility aids are also staffed on the floor to assist our patients in ambulating more often. This accelerates healing and recovery time.
Physical Therapy Gym
Our beautiful new physical therapy rehabilitation room has the latest equipment and is staffed by the finest orthopedic rehab team.
Our physical therapists are trained to specifically meet the needs of orthopedic surgery patients. Her goal is to safely get her patients moving as soon as possible.
Exercise Wear
Each patient is outfitted with loose-fitting exercise clothes to facilitate patient mobility in the physical therapy rehabilitation room.
